A markup setting (called a markup template when you use it) turns a project's cost into a quoted price. It is a list of pipeline steps applied one after another, for example add 15% overhead, add 10% profit, add cost of funds. When you generate a project quotation, you pick a markup template and its steps are applied. Only active markup settings can be picked.

Steps

  1. Open Settings › Markup Settings

In the menu on the left, select Settings, then Markup Settings. The list shows each setting's Name and Status, with an actions menu to edit, duplicate, activate or deactivate, and delete it.

  2. Add a markup setting

Select Add Markup Setting. Enter a Name (required, up to 200 characters, for example Standard Markup). Leave the switch on to enable the setting straight away, and select Save. You'll see Markup setting created successfully.

  3. Open it and add pipeline steps

Select the setting's name to open it. Under Pipeline Steps (the markup calculation steps, applied in sequence), select Add Pipeline Step and fill in:
