Before you submit an appraisal review you confirm that you've met the employee to discuss it. Review Meetings lets you book that meeting, send invitations, and keep the notes and action items in one place. You can also use it for goal setting, mid-year reviews and PIP reviews.

Steps

  1. Open Review Meetings

In the menu on the left, select HR, then Performance, then Review Meetings. From an appraisal you've reviewed, Schedule Review Meeting opens the same form with the appraisal filled in.

    1. Schedule Meeting books a new meeting.
    2. Counters: all meetings, upcoming, completed and attendees.
    3. Search, and filter by employee, status, meeting type or date range.
    4. Agenda lists meetings by date; Calendar shows a month view.
    5. Each meeting: time, title, the employee and meeting code, the place and the status (Scheduled, Rescheduled, In Progress, Completed, Cancelled or No Show). Select it to open it.
  2. Fill in the meeting details

Select Schedule Meeting. The form has five short steps.

    1. The steps: Meeting Details, Schedule, Location, Attendees, Agenda & Review.
    2. Meeting Title (required) and an optional Description.
    3. Meeting Type (required): Self Appraisal, Supervisor Review, Peer Review, Manager Review, HR Review, Final Review, PIP Review, PIP Follow Up, Goal Setting or Mid-Year Review.
    4. Employee Under Review (required).
    5. Continue goes to the next step.
  3. Choose the time, place and attendees

    • Schedule: the date and start time (both required) and the duration.
    • Location: In Person (enter the room, for example "Conference Room A, 3rd Floor, HQ") or Virtual (paste the Teams, Zoom or Google Meet link). The location or link is required.
    • Attendees: the employee is added; select Add Attendee to invite others, such as HR.
  4. Add the agenda and schedule it

On Agenda & Review, list the discussion points and check the Review Summary. Schedule the meeting. Everyone invited gets an email and an in-app notice ("Review meeting scheduled successfully!").

  5. Run the meeting

Open the meeting at the agreed time and select Start Meeting. Type the Discussion Notes as you talk, add action items (press Enter after each) and add documents if needed. To finish, select Complete Meeting and write the outcome: overall rating, decisions and next steps.

If plans change, use Reschedule Meeting or Cancel Meeting on the meeting's page.
